A Tabletop RPG with Set Mechanics

AstraArcanum revolutionizes traditional TTRPG character progression by introducing auto-battler style set mechanics to character building. Rather than choosing a class that determines available abilities, players collect and combine abilities that organically shape their character's class identity through set bonuses and synergies.

Character have stats and ability slots, their background and progression dictates the distribution of ability slots and stats. As you adventure, you can fill each ability slot with any ability meeting prerequisite, these are unrestricted by traditional class boundaries, and are entirely based on character stats, level and previously unlocked abilities. Each ability belong to one or more class sets that each activate set bonuses at different thresholds.

The system promotes a fluid class identity system to drive player agency. Dynamic ability changes on the fly allow players to custom mould their own class as they adventure. Emergent gameplay through set interactions allows for high strategic depth in character builds.
